Lizard Lighthouse

It’s never not thrilling to plant your feet at the Lizard, the UKs most southerly point, and drink in the uninterrupted sea views.  Make a day of it and visit the Lizard Lighthouse Heritage Centre whilst you’re here.  Check out the engine room, track ships through the stormy seas, blast the foghorn and climb to the top of the lighthouse to see what you can spot in the big blue.

Museum of Cornish Life

There is so much heritage and history to soak up in Cornwall, where is the best place to begin? Luckily the Museum of Cornish Life is just a short drive from Cadgwith.  Its three floors house one of the South West’s biggest collections of social history with exhibits on everything from the earliest ancient Cornish settlers to the county’s rich maritime history and renowned Cornish folk through the ages.  A day well spent!

Sit back, relax and enjoy a relaxing river cruise taking in some of Cornwall’s most beautiful sights from the water.  Pass alongside picturesque waterside villages and pick out some local pubs to pop back to later on, enjoy the romantic Frenchman’s Creek which inspired Daphne DuMaurier and see what wildlife you can spot along the way. Herons, egrets, seals and kingfishers have been spied along this stretch of river so keep those eyes peeled.
